Copmany employees using hazardous substances in the course of their work are required to use, handle and store them in the prescribed manner. Any proposed new usage of any substance must be reported to the Director for assessment and permission.
Care must be taken at all times to ensure that all pesticides are stored, prepared and applied in direct accordance with the manufacturers' instructions. Particular attention must be taken to utilise any safety equipment recommendations or requirements detailed on the label.
Summary
It is the aim of the company to seek to provide, so far as is resonably practicable, safe and healthy working conditions for all our staff. The strength of our commitment lies in our insistence on Health and Safety taking priority over all other concerns. It is the policy of the company not to work in potentially unsafe areas and all staff must obey this rule.
It is our view that Health and Safety is of prime concern to us all, and we expect our staff to act accordingly. If in any doubt, employees should always err on the side of safety and contact either their immediate supervisor or our Director for further advice and direction.
